South West third in medal standings at Saskatchewan Summer Games

The 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games passed the midway point on Thursday in Lloydminster. The South West District sat third in the medal standings with 16 medals, including four gold and four silver medals.

Swift Current’s Talyah Cuthbert won gold in the Female 50 Metre Freestyle in 28.76 seconds. She was also a part of five relay teams that won bronze in the pool.

The South West also won silver in Female Softball.

The South West Male Volleyball team won silver.

Swift Current’s Petro Christianos Kalousis won bronze in Tennis Male Singles as well.

Regina led the medal standings with 73 medals, including 36 gold medals. Saskatoon was second with 60 medals.
