Chloe Wills won her second straight Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour event at the 2024 MJT Maui Jim Series at Wildwood Golf Course June 1-2.
The Kyle product fired rounds of 85 and 84 for a two-shot win in the 15-19 Girls Division.
Swift Current’s Matty Schmiess placed eighth in the Bantam Boys Division. He carded rounds of 74 and 84 to finish 11 shots back of the winner, Saskatoon’s Lucas Sturgeon (73-74). Swift Current’s Max Gehl tied for 17th with rounds of 89 and 86. Kyle’s Jace Wills was 21st with rounds of 95 and 84. Shaunavon’s Kellen Ross finished in 26th after rounds of 101 and 86.
Swift Current’s Ayden Ross tied for seventh in the Juvenile Boys Division with rounds of 79 and 77 to finish 12 shots back of the winner, Saskatoon’s Jack Maharaj (73-71)
The next MJT stop in Saskatchewan will be at the Deer Park Municipal Golf Course in Yorkton on June 15-16.
