The Swift Current Comp. Ardens defeated three Regina opponents to win the ROCK Tournament in Regina over the weekend.
The Ardens opened the tournament with a 74-69 win over the Campbell Tartans, led by 21 points from Kylee Michaluk and six from Naimy Regier.
The Ardens followed up with a 76-66 overtime win over Balfour. Sarah Neustaeter led the Ardens with 17 points and Janelle Stolhandske-Dale added 15 points.
They closed out the tournament title with a 69-47 win over Harvest City. Neustaeter led the Ardens with 20 points, while grade nine Danica Jackson scored 18 points on her way to Tournament Most Valuable Player honours.
Jackson and Michaluk were both named tournament all-stars. Jackson also won the skill competition three-point contest.
The Ardens are tentatively slated to host Moose Jaw AE Peacock in the Moose Jaw League semi-final on Thursday.
