The Swift Current Pure Chem Broncos were in Saskatchewan U15 AA Hockey League action on Friday when they defeated the host Prairie Storm 4-3 in overtime.
Jake Hargrave scored his second goal of the game in overtime to secure the extra point. Carter Moen had one goal and one assist, while Kasey Gleim assisted on three goals. Tysen Kobley also scored and Jaxson Squires chipped in one assist.
Cade Mitchell earned the win with 27 saves. Brock Ayotte took the loss with 28 saves.
Maxx Fuessel, Kayson Anderson, and Taren Anderson scored for the home team.
The Broncos moved into top spot in the South Division with a 12-2-0-1 record, while the Storm fell to 8-2-1-0.
The Broncos will visit the Estevan Bruins on Saturday in their final league game of 2023.
