A pair of international rinks came out on top of the 2023 Nutrien Ag Solutions Western Showdown in Swift Current.
Korea’s Eunjung Kim defeated Winnipeg’s Jolene Campbell 6-4 in the women’s championship game on Sunday.
Campbell scored singles in three straight ends before Kim counted a pair in the seventh end and then stole one in the eighth end.
Switzerland’s Yannick Schwaller topped the men’s event with an 8-6 win over a fellow Swiss rink skipped by Michael Brunner. Schwaller took control of the game with four points in the fifth end.
