Cuthbert sets two provincial swim records in Weyburn

Talyah Cuthbert set a pair of Saskatchewan outdoor swimming records at a recent meet in Weyburn.

The ACT Swift Stingrays star won all five of her 13-14 Female Division races on July 15 at the Weyburn Silver Seals Swim Meet.

Cuthbert, 13, set a record in the 200 Metre Freestyle in 2:23.60, erasing the 2001 record of Mykea Jundt. She added a record in the 400 Metre Freestyle in 5:15.26 to surpass the 2022 record of Sarah Kamel.

Cuthbert won gold in her division, as did Lincoln Moffitt in the 9-10 Boys Division. Jett Schafer and Savannah Moffitt won silver, while Drew Cuthbert won bronze.
