Broncos abuse Tigers for second straight win

The Swift Current Broncos won a second straight game as they defeated the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers 5-1 on Friday.

Defenseman Sam McGinley scored twice, while Raphael Pelletier, Josh Filmon, and Connor Hvidston also tallied. Reid Dyck earned the win with 30 saves.

Andrew Basha scored the only goal on the power play. Garin Bjorklund took the loss with 25 saves.

The Broncos moved into 9th in the Eastern Conference with a 22-30-5-2 record. The Tigers remain last in the WHL with a 11-42-3-1 record.
