The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has enhanced its immunization efforts to again offer a blend of bookable, outreach and walk-in vaccine clinics.
“While we’ve made great progress in immunizing Saskatchewan, we have to keep evolving our strategies to meet the needs of the public,” said Derek Miller, Commander, SHA Emergency Operations Centre. “Allowing more booked clinics provides flexibility for those residents that require it, while also continuing to offer pop-up walk-in clinics, booster doses for eligible populations and also continuing with our school immunization program for youth. Please don’t wait – get vaccinated today.”
Some of the communities taking bookings include: Big River, Esterhazy, Estevan, Foam Lake, Humboldt, Kelliher, Lanigan, Lloydminster, Melville, Moose Jaw, Moosomin, Nipawin, Ponteix, Regina, Rosetown, Saskatoon, Swift Current, Tisdale, Turtleford, Wakaw, Weyburn and Yorkton.

There is a pop up clinic at the Southwest Newcomer Welcome Centre this afternoon from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Pop up clinics planned in the Southwest later this week include:
Thursday, September 30 – Maple Creek (Southwest Integrated Healthcare Facility – west side of the hospital), Pfizer and Moderna, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday, September 27 to Friday, October 1 – Swift Current (1061 Central Ave. N., old Central Medical Clinic, Pfizer and Moderna, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Additionally, on Wednesday, September 29 and Wednesday, October 6, there will be by appointments clinics offered at the Public Health Office in the E.I. Wood Building in Swift Current. In the mornings from 8:30 a.m. to noon they will be delivering Pfizer shots, and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the afternoons they will be handing out Moderna shots. Appointments must be booked online or by phone at 306-778-4004.
