Three Swift Current athletes combined to win two gold and four silver medals at the Alberta Indoor Track and Field Championship in Edmonton on March 1-2.
Colter Folk struck gold in the U18 1,500 Metres in 4:11.79 to win the 20-man field. He also raced to a silver in the 3,000 Metres event in 9:01.09.
Jackson Tuplin vaulted to a gold medal performance in the U18 Pole Vault when he cleared the bar at 4.05 metres. He captured silver in the U18 High Jump when he cleared the bar at 1.70 metres. Tuplin also won silver in the U18 60 Metre Hurdles in 8.51 seconds.
Macey Tuplin won silver in the U16 Triple Jump with a top jump of 9.63 metres on her third of six attempts.
The event featured 742 athletes from 42 track and field teams from Saskatchewan and Alberta.
