The Swift Current Comp. Senior Ardens basketball team won all three games to claim gold at the ROCK Tournament in Regina.
The Ardens defeated Regina Sheldon Williams 76-45 in the quarter-final. Sarah Neustaeter led the Ardens with 16 points, followed by 14 from Bree Pavely.
The Ardens followed up with a 75-35 win over Indian Head. Neustaeter scored 20 points and Rayanne Fleischfresser added 18.
The Ardens defeated Harvest City 69-59 in the championship game. Kylee Michaluk scored 23 points on her way to Tournament Most Valuable Player honours. Neustaeter scored 14 points on her way to a spot on the Tournament All-Star along with teammate Dani Meyer as the Ardens improved to 26-4 on the season.
The Ardens will be back on home court on Tuesday when they host the Moose Jaw league semi-final at 6 p.m.
