The Swift Current Comp. Junior Colts Red finished with two wins and two losses at the 2025 Rochdale Invitational Junior Boys & Girls Basketball Tournament in Regina over the weekend.
They lost their opening game 95-57 to the Winnipeg Sisler Spartans. Enzo dela Cruz led the Colts with 10 points, followed by nine from Alexander Fraser. Briar Moffit was named the Hustler Player of the Game.
The Colts rebounded with a 66-55 win over the Regina Sheldon Williams Spartans. Quinn Bolton scored 14 points, followed by 10 points from Juan Dungca. Connor Letkeman was named the Hustler Player of the Game.
The Colts lost their next game 87-82 in overtime to the Regina Riffel Royals. Dungca scored 16 points and Zachary Dyke added 15 points, while dela Cruz was named the Hustler Player of the Game.
The Colts wrapped up the 10-team tournament with a 55-45 win over the Regina Winston Knoll Wolverines. Moffit led the Cots with 11 points, followed by 10 from dela Cruz.
The Colts will host the Jr. Colts Blue tournament on Feb. 7-8, 2025. They will face the Regina Christian Grizzlies on Friday at 5:45 p.m.
